Lotus now has a Motorcycle division!


That is right, the British car company will now have their name on a motorcycle thanks to the joint effort of Kodewa, car designer Daniel Simon and the Holzer Group. The first motorcycle that will be introduced in the next few weeks will be named Lotus C-01 and will be a "hyper bike with integrated racing technology".

BMW reveals the Concept Ninety, a motorcycle from the past


The division responsible for building motorcycles, BMW Motorrad, celebrates 90 years, and to commemorate that, the German company brought a special model to the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, that was inspired by another model that celebrates 40 years, the BMW R 90 S.

Christini AWD 450 Military Edition. Is a motorcycle with two-wheel drive


You probably never heard of a two-wheel drive motorcycle, but that is exactly what Christini has been making for some years now. Both the rear and front wheels are driven by the engine. If you have no idea how this works, check Christini's AWD Technology page.

KTM E-SPEED - Bringing electricity to your scooter


There is more in the world than just cars. Electric cars are increasingly being presented, but electricity is also coming to motorcycles, and KTM wants to be one of the pioneers. The Austrian company brought to the Tokyo Motorcycle Show the sport-oriented concept for “urban mobility”.

Wunderlich “MadUSA”. Built from a BMW S1000RR


Wunderlich, which is the American distributor for German aftermarket parts, joined BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco to create this amazing beast. And why is it called "MadUSA" (pictured above)? Wunderlich first created the Mad Max (pictured below), which had Continental TKC 80, in Germany, but to sell it in the States they kept the Mad and added the USA for an obvious reason.

The Road Warriors - Isle of Man TT, Southern 100 and Ulster GP [Video] Crazy!


You have to be really brave to drive a bike at almost 320km/h (200mph) in a country road with rain and several other guys trying to overtake you in almost every single place. See the videos below and admire those guys.

The challenge taken by the BMW Motorrad development department was pretty big, they had to make the previous GS, which is the most successful travel enduro in the world with 170.000 units sold, even better, and they believe they did it. Check the video below.

BottPower BOTT XR1 is made from spare Buell parts

 
After waiting for almost 2 years, the Spanish company BottPower finally finished the BOTT XR1, a custom motorcycle made for, and imagined by Ramón Bellosta.

2013 Honda CBR600RR will not continue to be overlooked


Seems the almost 5 year old Honda CBR600RR will get a refresh for 2013 (about time), including new fairings, allowing for a six percent reduction in drag, a fine-tuned ram-air system to increase torque in the midrange on the 599cc engine.

2013 Bimota DB11 and DB11 VLX - Another fantastic machines from Italy


The Italians continue to design some good looking machines and Bimota isn't an exception. Even if the aspect of the bike hasn't change for a while it sill looks distinctive and garage worthy.

2013 Honda CBR500R. Not exciting at all, still cool.


The CBR500R follows ups the introduction of the CB500F and the CB500X, saturating the 500c market with several proposals that are basically the same bike. They are all based in an unpretentious liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC, 180° crank, 54 bhp (in the USA, in other countries it will have 47bhp) engine.

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R


The Triumph brand has 125 years and suffered quite a lot up to today, but now it is a well established company that makes great bikes. To prove that we have here the new Daytona 675 and 675R.
 

2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory ABS. R version looks matte but no specs yet.


For the 2013 model of the RSV4, Aprilia made several changes in the hardware department to create this version. There is now a three-level dual-channel ABS system from Bosch that can be completely disengaged that works with the new Brembo M430/M50 calipers. Same as those in the Ducati 1199 Panigale R.
 

2013 MV Agusta Rivale 800


This is the MV Agusta model that will compete in the hypermotard market. Based on the MV Agusta Brutale 800, the Rivale uses pretty much the same chassis and engine.

I have no idea what Alessandro Tartarini was thinking when he designed this monster motorcycle concept that supposedly is introduced as half an ATV and wants to go where no other motorcycle dare dream.
 

KTM 1290 Superduke R concept is crazy [Video]


This is the Kiska designed KTM superduke 1290 R that was unveiled at EICMA in Milan and is a pretty crazy looking motorcycle with an estimated 180hp and a custom made akrapovic exhaust.

Triumph Speed Triple turned to a Vilner Bulldog [Video]


Vilner is known for modifying cars, but now also turned its attention to two-wheeled vehicles. The changes are only cosmetic and include new headlights, new wheels supplied by OZ Racing, a new exhaust line in black, and the use of leather in the seat and the side.
