Alfa Romeo refreshes the Giulietta

This was a highly anticipated facelift. While it still is a beautiful car, even the most diehard supporters of the Italian brand agreed that the interior was something less than desirable in relation to the materials used. Alfa Romeo knew this, so they did a lot to change that and bring it to another level.

But starting with the exterior, Alfa Romeo made a few small changes, like the new front grille, chrome-plated frame of the fog lights and 16-, 17- and 18-inch wheels. Also new are the Moonlight Pearl, Anodizzato Blue and Bronze colors.

Moving forward to the interior, we see that Alfa Romeo wanted to increase the quality and on-board comfort. The 2014 Giulietta now has a new steering wheels, new seats (new sport seats on the Quadrifoglio Verde with black leather/Alcantara and contrasting stitching), and new treatments for the dashboard, door panels and handles to give it a better feel. The soundproofing was also improved, and the Uconnect infotainment system is available with a 5-inch or 6.5-inch Radionav touchscreen.

To end, you can choose a new diesel engine. It's the 2.0-liter JTDM 2 that produces 150PS (148bhp or 110kW) and 380Nm (280lb/ft) of torque. This engine features the second-generation MultiJet injection system and the third generation Common Rail injection system. for improved fuel efficiency, fewer CO2 emissions and less noise.
