Meet the new Renault Koleos

A long time ago, you saw here the first pictures of the new Koleos taken in China. Today, Renault finally decided to fully reveal the new Koleos at the sixth International Buenos Aires Motor Show. Renault calls it new, but the changes are minimal and limited to the looks of this SUV.

The biggest changes take place at the front, with Renault giving it "the brand's new identity". This means the grille and front bumper are new. Also new are the door mirror housings which are now equipped with LED indicators. The rest of the exterior remains unchanged.

The interior suffered more changes and now features the new in-dash Renault R-Link multimedia system complete with seven-inch touchscreen display. As an option, you can have a hands-free card, a new interior trim, brown leather upholstery that goes with the also new Ebony Brown exterior finish, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control functions, and the Bose audio system.

Nothing was revealed about the engine options but, depending on the market, Renault will have available a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 171PS (169bhp or 126kW), a new 2.0-liter unit that produces 137PS (135bhp or 101kW), and a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 150PS (148bhp or 110kW) or 175PS (173bhp or 129kW). Regardless of the chosen engine, the Koleos can be ordered with two- or four-wheel drive transmission.
